This is a charming and well-maintained building in a typical Parisian neighborhood, with no tourist sites, just the usual fabulous bakeries, pastry shops, outdoor markets, bistros, and several good ethnic restaurants, including an excellent Indian restaurant and a new Camerounian one. There is a bus stop one block away, several metro stops within easy walking distance, a number of supermarkets close by, and a lot of architecturally interesting areas nearby, like Place Daumesnil, with the stone lions and the fountain.The apartment is on the top (sixth) floor, with an elevator, and it has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and divided bathroom (wc has a new toilet and tile, and the shower is separate, just off the back of the kitchen). The kitchen has a new large (by Paris standards) refrigerator, a new stove with gas and electric burners/oven, a new washing machine, older wood cabinets, and a tile floor.The living room and bedroom are at the rear of the apartment, with no neighbors above or on any side. Even the windows look out over the tops of the nearby buildings, and the taller ones are far enough away that you have a sense of privacy, a rarity in the big city. There is only apartment adjacent to this one, with an adjoining wall behind the hallway, so noise is not an issue. There is a huge closet with a skylight, and another skylight in the wc that can be opened.
